Maison Stamm: A new chapter begins in our Schnersheim workshop

Maison Stamm : Une nouvelle page s'écrit à Schnersheim

From barn to workshop: growth in the service of craftsmanship

The Maison Stamm adventure began in 2022 in the rustic and authentic setting of our barns. It was there that our first blades were created, driven by a desire to revalorize local wood and revitalize cutlery in our beautiful region. In 2024, a key milestone was reached with our relocation to the Hautepierre business incubator in Strasbourg. This stimulating ecosystem allowed us to structure our know-how and confirm that more and more of you shared our values of common sense and sustainability.

However, every success brings new challenges. With the arrival of our first employee, space quickly became a luxury. To continue creating knives in Alsace without compromising on quality, we needed a place that matched our artisanal ambitions.

Why Schnersheim? A new setting for Alsatian cutlery

It is with immense pride that we virtually open the doors of our new workshop located in Schnersheim, in the heart of the town's industrial zone. This move is not just a change of address; it is a major evolution for knife making in Alsace.

With over 150 m² dedicated to creation, we now have a perfectly organized space. This area allows us to separate the production stages — from cutting the steel to shaping the revalued wood handles — to produce in a calm and organized manner. Working as a team in a brand new environment is a real pleasure that allows us to express ourselves fully and guarantee you exceptional pieces.

It's a pleasure to continue this story. Here is the rest of your article, designed to answer internet users' questions about local cutlery while promoting your new sales space.

Showroom and Shop: Come and discover knife making in Alsace

You often wonder where to buy knives in Alsace or where to find a cutlery shop that accepts visits? We designed this new location to meet this desire for proximity. More than just a production site, our new workshop in Schnersheim includes a true showroom.

In this shop area, you can now:

  • Discover all our collections and touch the materials, whether it's the steel or our historically rich wooden handles.
  • Discuss our expertise with us and understand the stages of knife making in Alsace, from forging to final adjustment.
  • Find original and durable gift ideas that celebrate our region's heritage.

A local and circular commitment

This move allows us to strengthen our mission: to revitalize the art of Alsatian cutlery. By remaining faithful to the use of recycled wood and sensible production, we continue to offer responsible products at the heart of our region's circular economy.
